How to cure a swollen lip without ice?

  • plz help! I went 2 the dentist this morning 2 get a cavity filled. They gave me shots in my mouth. I have never had a num moth and so I started biting my lip cuz it felt weird. Now its all swollen and I tried ice but its too hard with how swollen my lip is. I cant open my mouth wide enough to fit the ise in there. Thanx!!

the dentist or assistant should of told you to to be careful while you were numb.very dumb of them.anyway,put ice in a plastic bag and hold it over your lip.when the numbing wears off rinse with warm salt water .it will help heal the wound on the inside of the lip.you can also buy some oral gel at walmart and place some on the injury.it will numb it for a bit ibuprofenn an antinflammatory and will help with pain an inflammation.you can get that at walmart or walgreens.
