How can I hook up my xbox360 to the Internet?

I have a 3TB WD Cloud drive...problems with PC and XBOX360?

  • I recently purchased a 3TB WD Cloud mybooklive external drive for backing up my videos (wmv, avi, etc...) and after using the disc that comes with the drive, and searching forum after forum, I can't figure out a way to actually copy files to it. I have given it THREE drive letters now, just trying to get the PC to discover it! And when it does recognize it, it takes forever to read/delete/move/copy anything despite having giga internet...Once the files are on it, I will be using TVersity to get them to the XBOX360, and I have used TVersity with a 1tb drive in the past. Actually currently AM using that hook up. Need the 3tb though, and can't figure out a way to do it. I have read that I have to partition the drive into smaller chunks, and that would be fine, having two seperate drive letters on the same drive, but after reading and researching, all I can seem to find is people fighting over mac/pc crap. I have spent $200 on this drive, and now I'm going on week 4 trying to get it to work. Can someone please help me? I have 64x windows vista, and this crap is annoying. Another thing, after using the back up utility that comes on the included disc, it starts a backup, after I select to copy video files only, gets about a third of the way done, then errors out, saying that a file is currently in use, even though I have closed everything I possibly can to allow the transfer. When I go to MY COMPUTER and then to NETWORK to examine the drives contents, I only see a bunch of *.tmp files, and no video. What the shxt is wrong with this thing? And how the shxt do I fix it?

  • Answer:

I would say that this could be the device problem... Report this issue to the mechanical service since they may have some idea of how to fix that problem.... Good luck!
