What kind of job should I look for / get?

  • I am 16 and I have never had a job before and idk what types of jobs to look for. The easiest job to get is a job at McDonald's and I don't want that. So I need an opinion on what my first job should be. I want an actual job that you get paid every week and work 8 hours a day not babysitting or something typical 16 year old have because I have to actually go out and look for job. I have applied for jobs but now I want an opinion on what I should look for specially.

    Just apply anywhere and everywhere. Fill out all the applications you can find at any place that will hire teen workers. I would even apply at places you may not be interested in for the sake of getting experienced with interviews, and, hey, McDonald's isn't half bad. :]
