What to do about greasy hair?

What can i do to keep my hair from getting greasy?! Important please help!!?

  • Hey! :) Okay, so i'm going away in 2 weeks to go on a mission trip to help rebuild houses for a Navajo Indian tribe in Arizona and were going to be staying in a building on the reservation for 5 days-the only problem is, there's no showers. i do a lot of sports so i'm used to taking a shower every day and because i've gotten used to it, my hair has too, so now my hair gets greasy after just 1 day of not showering, and for this trip i'm going to have to be able to go 5 days without a single shower. i don't really have to worry about keeping my body clean because were going to have towels that we can wet to wash ourselves and soap and stuff like that, but i really can't figure out a way to keep my hair clean. there are no showers, no ponds, no lakes, no sources of water, (not even a sink!), and we only have a certain amount of bottled water for us to drink so i can't use any of that either. i really need help because i want to look nice, i mean after all there's going to be guys there ;) haha. so i've heard about dry shampoo, does that really work? and what does it do? do you guys have any other tricks or things you can do/use to prevent your hair from getting greasy and keep it looking fresh and clean? i need products haha:) please help! thank you all so much!! :)

I have found that the Batiste Dry Shampoo Big & Bouncy XXL Volume is the best one as is gives my hair and clean refreshed look and volumizes my hair more than hairspray does! so it gives me that *just done my hair* look. http://www.boots.com/en/Batiste-Dry-Shampoo-Big-Bouncy-XXL-Volume-200ml_1228543/ a cheaper options would be to use baby powder by putting a little onto your fingertips and massaging into roots then outwards BUT you will have to be careful and brush quite a lot because it can leave your hair very white and powdery!

dry shampoo, there's spray and powder, just put it on the roots of your hair, and it will be clean! or if you don't have that, baby powder also gets rid of oil

baby powder, dry shampoo, spray hairspray on a hairbrush and comb through, those are the only tricks i know and i can say all these tricks do work cuz I've tried them all.
