How do you get a full ride scholarship?

How to get a full ride scholarship?

  • I'm currently a freshman in highschool and im beginning to think about college. I don't think i'll be able to afford college unless I get some type of scholarship. I have a 4.65 GPA right now and I was wondering if I keep that up, or improve, will I be able to get scholarships or assistance from universities? Also, im not a member of any clubs. Do I have to join any? Can you please give me examples of what I can do to get scholarships because I want to prepare early ? :) thank you.

  • Answer:

Keep up your GPA to one of the highest few, if not the highest, in the class. Join clubs. Recruiters want to recruit well rounded people to their schools.

SPORTS. period. I know so many people with 4.8's, almost if not perfect SAT's, all AP classes, volunteer, involved at school and community and they are getting rejections left and right. They are a common. However, the athletes that marginally excel at a sport and get decent grades are all getting into their first choice colleges... full ride. If I had to do it again, I would focus on some not too common sport, like water polo or diving and try to do the best I could. Sorry, American society values sports and entertainment more then they do academics and education.
