How to negotiate salary for 17 months experienced...?

  • Hi frns.... am having 17 months of work experience in a MNC and am about to complete my MBA degree. During my placements can I be able to negotiate salary with HR and if so how much % increase in salary can I negotiate with him when compared to a fresher....(for example: if a fresher is getting 6 l.p.a, how much can i negotiate... and how much can i finally arrive)....Pls do help me on this.... thanks in advance.....!!!!

    start with a hike of atleast 25000 per month and end up with the hike of minimum 15000 per month. you can and WILL easily get it

Hi Friend, I guess you had 17 months of experience before starting the MBA. But, now that you are about to complete your MBA you want to know if you could negotiate salary better than your classmates who might not be having the experience you already have. You can surely negotiate the package with the HR, but you need to give your current skills as reason than the earlier experience. As for normal campus recruitment they always consider the candidate as fresher only. Unless if you are doing the MBA in a very good college.
