Question about business school and material.

UCLA Business/Economics School Question?

• I love UCLA. It might be number 1 one my list. But there is one catch; I am interested in business. Of course, UCLA doesn't offer a straight up business class for undergraduates. They have Business Economics. What kind of program is it? I hear it is just economics with accounting. I know their graduate school is great. Should I go to a school with more emphasis on business management or is UCLA sufficient?

  It's true that the Business Economics major is mostly focused on the "economics" part; the "business" aspect comes in because you can take "management" classes, but don't let the name fool you because the management courses for undergrads are really mostly finance/accounting courses. It's still a good major (and quite popular at UCLA) in that it can get you a job easier than some other majors at UCLA, but if you're looking for more business management, you probably won't find that here unless you go as a graduate student. Also, you can't take classes from Anderson as an undergrad since they're restricted to graduate students.
