What can CURE acid reflux? I am desperate. I am tired of prescriptions. I need a cure.?

The best thing you can do is try to find out if there is a specific reason you are having the reflux, and correct that. Any other medications you are taking (some meds can actually cause reflux). do you drink a lot of caffeine, alcohol, or smoke? that can all cause reflux. There isnt really a cure...we try to find the underlying cause and correct that in hopes of getting rid of the reflux. Sorry! Good luck!

Hello Melissa :) The absolute best thing to do to cure acid reflux is simply drinking as much water as you can! Acid reflux is caused by dehydration, poor lifestyle(eating unhealthy, drinking unhealthy, etc.) I had acid reflux just a couple months ago, and i stocked up on plenty of water. Make sure to not drink tap water, as the chemicals and unfiltered bacteria can make your acid reflux symptoms worse. The best water to drink is Spring water, from the bottles. Also, another remedy is to eat ice. Yes i know, it sounds crazy, but it is one of the most helpful things to do when you suffer from Acid reflux. The coldness of the ice will numb your throat and cool down your stomach/intestines. So basically, just drink a lot of water, and 'eat' plenty of ice, and you should feel better within a couple to a few days!!!
