How can I add a slideshow to my site?

How can I add a wordpress register/log in to my wordpress site?

  • OK i know i've asked this before but I need to change it around and this is the last one i swear. I have a website i made using wordpress. All works well so far. I used Simple:Press for my forums which I love. However, it goes based on logging in to wordpress to use them, which is fine. But you see, I want people to come to my site and be able to make comments, and write posts on forums. Now if they have a wordpress account, it works fine, but if not they'd have to make one. So I basically am asking if there's a way to add a "register" for wordpress ON my site, instead of just telling people to go to wordpress THEN go to my site i'd like it to be right there. Or if someone maybe knows a way to add a "login through facebook" type thing on a site. This is literally ALL i need for my site to be ready to go. So long story short, i want people to be able to be members (be it thru my own way or thru wordpress), via facebook, or anywhere in between. I just need a log in log out system. thats all. I have no knowledge of code and just want peope to be able to log in and post.

It already has this built-in. You can't do a "login through facebook" deal because you are not partners with Facebook and you don't own them and they don't own you. It cannot be done. The reason you can do it with other websites is because people like Yahoo have a partnership with Facebook that allows them to do it. Facebook is not going to allow you this. Anyway, you can go into your blog options and set it to only allow comments from people who are logged in. Then you need to make sure your "Meta" widget is displayed on your sidebar. The Meta widget has a link that says "Login" and people can use that link to create or log into an account.

There are plugins for login with facebook. http://www.sociable.es/facebook-connect/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-facebookconnect/ Here's another: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/registration/ Look around on the facebook developer site. You would be surprised what you find, *and* you don't have to be a bigwig.
