I need help simplifying a rational expression.

I need help simplifying a radical expression with variables?

  • Answer:

    8ab^3b^3/2a^2-2b^2 divided by 4a^2b^2/ 2a+2b) =8a^3b^3/2ab (a-b) / 4a^2b^2/ 2 (a+b) = 8a^3b^3/ 2ab(a-b) * 2 (a+b) / 4a^2b^2 = 2 (a+b) / (a-b)

I believe the way you wrote it is incorrect. You need to place parenthesis around the terms. I believe what you want is: (8ab^3)(b^3)/(2a^2-2b^2) divided by (4a^2)(b^2)/ (2a+2b) if that is true then the solution is: b^4/(a((a-b)/2)
