    Yes, I was able to become a homebased employee after 5 years of work with my current company. I have a Master's degree in my field and 8 years total experience in my job. Because most of my work is done on the computer, it was easy to set up my home office and work from home. I still need to go into the office about 1 day a week for meetings/training and to do stuff that needs to be in person. Since you didn't list any of your qualifications, I can't tell you about opportunities in your industry. If you are not a skilled professional, it's likely all you'll find are the 'work from home' scams, so be very careful. Here are some tips a 'job' is a scam: -You don't have a formal interview with at least two people -They don't call your references -They call it work from home and not 'homebased' -They ask you for a dollar - there's no such thing as a credit check you have to pay for, start up kit, etc. - a real company will pay 100% of the cost of your materials, training, set up. -You have to use your personal computer, pay for your own business phone/internet/printer. A legit company will provide you with materials to keep their proprietary information safe. Work gave me a printer, computer, monitor, fax machine and $50 a month towards office supplies like ink, pens, paper, etc.
