Problem installing games on PC (Not enough memory)?
-
I've had this Dell Inspiron 1545 since Nov 2009. On the first few days I tried installing Lego Racers 2 PC (CD) but it said 'not enough memory'. Now I still don't understand why the heck it's saying that. This PC is good enough for the game.. 4GB RAM. That's plenty of memory.. especially back then, I had nothing installed, hardly, but no matter how many times I tried, the installation was never successful. WHY IS IT TELLING ME THIS? If someone knows why and how to solve the problem, please answer. Thanks! God damn it people please read my damn question. I tried the first or second day I had this PC. It is NOT A VIRUS or anything else of the sort! I've been using pro antivirus softwares since I bought this PC. I've de-fragmented frequently- at least once a week. My PC was in great shape back then, it sure isn't now, but perhaps this problem has something to do with how much RAM I'm allowing LEGO games to take up?? I think I also tried installing Legoland... same error..

The Helper
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awdW2 No no no no, you have 376Gigs of storage on your hard drive. It means memory as in your RAM. And you do have enough memory to run it, it is just a glitch. It happened to me. 1. Open the start menu 2. Click Run... 3. Type 'msconfig' and hit ENTER 4. Look for the Boot tab (this should be the 2nd tab from the left) 5. Click Advanced Options... 6. Tick the box beside Maximum Memory and set the number to a high amount (I set mine to 4096) 7. Reboot and run Zoo Tycoon 2 again
