Can someone help with my acting cover letter?

• I am a seventeen year old seeking a talent agent in Dallas Texas. Here is a breif over view of my experience: I have theate experience (about 5 shows) through my High School and church. I have completed an on camera and audition class. I have 4 years of dance experience, cheerleading experience, I write songs, and I I am a Gifted and Talented student.

  This might just be an English thing so please feel free to ignore this comment but... These people will get a huge amount of cover letters from many other teens. And all they sift through all day is "I'm interesting, talented, clever, friendly, creative...ETC" and they know when somebody is trying to inflate their appearance. Be more specific and don't cut out the facts. 4 years dance experience...what kind of dance? Rather than saying you have theatre experience, give them the info and what you thought of the productions. Don't be negative but not everything has to be great. for example "I played Elphiba in Wicked and it was such a shame that we had some funding problems because It could have been a really good show; however I worked hard and I learned a lot about stage presence from playing the role". You can write what ever you want but remember that they're not idiots and they tend to like it when somebody is frank an honest and lives well up to their description. Rather than someone who is apparently fantastic according to their letter and turns out is terrible. I hope all this helped :D
