Who are considered family?

Is family still considered "family" if I've never met them (besides being blood-related)?

  • Answer:

That's something you'll have to decide for yourself. Your family members don't have to be blood-related; they can be anyone that you share a deep emotional bond (or whatever you'd like to call it) with. Try meeting with her next time you have a holiday (maybe try and spend Christmas or something with her, if that's your thing), and see whether or not she is someone you could truly consider to be a part of your family. There's no way to explain what, exactly, a family is; you'll know it when you see/feel it, though. Good luck!
