Can Autodesk Inventor be used to model objects for games like TF2?
-
I use Autodesk Inventor, which uses feature-based modeling. It does not use the same kind of modeling techniques you would use in something like Blender or Maya. I want to know if I can make 3D models in Inventor and use them for games like Team Fortress 2, and how. I have much more control and can do much more easier in Inventor than I can in any other kind of modeling software. And then... In Inventor, I can make the model itself contain all of the information needed...as in, I can color and texture a model in the same file, and not need to have a separate file as a "skin" to color and texture. Any ideas?
