How can I get extra notifications on YouTube?

Do youtube channel owners get notifications of comments that are replies to other commenters on their videos?

  • In case you didn't understand my question, which was a mouthful, I'll attempt to illustrate what I'm asking. Channel owner uploads a video about, I dunno, cats. Someone with the username of "dogs-rulz"comments on the video. (channel owner usually gets notification of new comment, right?) Someone else with the username of "cats-rulz" comes along and replies to "dogs-rulz" comment.(@dogs-rulz blah blah blah, cats rule and dogs drool, blah blah) Does the channel owner get a notification in their inbox of the comment left by "cats-rulz" that was in reply to "dogs-rulz" comment?

Yeah but I only get notified of maybe one out of 5 of all my comments on youtube. I have hundreds on older videos that I never saw
