Ok.Last question. I have 2 15" Alpine Type-Rs 2ohms(750mrs) and a MTX 1501D Mono amp. Can this set up work?

I would NOT run 2 Alpine Type R's with an MTX. The Alpine's will suck away all the power from the MTX, resulting in a pretty much useless sub. Honestly, I would buy another Alpine Type R if I was you, but that's just personal opinion.
