I need a webcam software that takes pictures ?

I have an Acer aspire one with Windows 7 Home Premium and it has a built in webcam. There is a windows live movie maker on it and it takes video so i know the camera works. I had downloaded YouCam but the free trial and it worked really good but when that ended I tried finding another webcam software and I've googled about it, went on Youtube, and I've downloaded soo many webcam softwares but none of them work, they all need a webcam software to work. I was wondering if you know any webcam softwares that are like YouCam that take pictures and don't need other things to make it work. All I want is something that'll let me take pictures from my camera, nothing else. Thank you :)

I'm pretty sure that if you look up the camera from the start menu and pull it up you'll be able to takes photos from the native program.

You said you already have Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 installed. You don't need any other software just to take snapshots. If WLMM is able to detect the presence of your webcam through the Options menu, record a short clip by clicking on the webcam video icon, stop the recording, save the clip on your hard drive. After that, click on the Snapshot icon and save it as a picture. If you need to convert the PNG format to JPG, you can open it with Paint and save as JPG.
