Does the red veins in eyes recede eventually after stop wearing contacts permanently? Like after a year?

Answer:
I don't really know the answer to this. If the red veins have invaded your cornea and the inner layers of the cornea, then they may be permanent. If the red veins are only in the white part of the eye then at least your cornea is O.K. The veins tend to grow towards an injury, like oxygen deprivation due to over wearing contact lenses or an eye injury or eye surgery to try and repair it. If the veins have invade your cornea, then you are best to see a cornea specialist at the eye hospital. If the red veins are only in the white part of your eyes then your eyes are O.K.

Sounds like you have the wrong type or size of contacts for your eyes. I've worn contacts for 30 years and never had the symptoms you describe. If your current optometrist or opthalmologist can't correct this with a different type of lens, you need to find a better doctor. It is not worth risking your eyesight because your eye doc is inept.
