What can I do after access to nursing?

Access to Nursing financial help?

  • Hi, I'm looking to study access to nursing at a college in Wales. Just wondering what financial help there is as its different from uni. I know there's ALG but that's not much over a year so wondering if I'm financially going to be able to afford to go to college as I still have to work to pay rent but it isn't going to be enough as I'll be at college most of the week.

    I did an access course many years ago, and unfortunately there are no loans available to help you through (like you get at uni). I was still living at home with my parents, I worked part time, and had savings to help me through.
