Can I get songs from my iTunes account onto another iPod?
-
My mom got an iPod Touch (black) and I have the white iPod touch. Mom doesn't want to spend her own iTunes money when she can probably just get off of my iTunes account. I have some questions though: - How to only get checked songs onto my Mom's iPod because some of them I don't want my mom having on her iPod because she doesn't like some of the songs on my iTunes - I plugged her iPod into my laptop and my iTunes account but it says "This computer has previously been synced with an iPod or another iOS device." then it has two options: 1) Set up as new iPod 2) Restore from backup of ____'s iPod. Which one do I click? My mom already has her own iTunes account on the same computer! I don't want her iPod becoming part of MY iTunes! For example: When I buy a song, I don't want it loading onto her iPod touch unless I decide to checkmark that song and plug the iPod into my iTunes account. So, what do I do? When I log onto my iTunes Account from Mom's iPod and try to download a song it says... "This device is already associated with an Apple ID. If you download past purchases with your Apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days." What does that mean? Should I download the songs or not?

Go on her iPod: Settings - Store Then log in with your account. Now go to the iTunes app on the iPod Touch On the bottom go to Purchased, and you can download any song you want by tapping the Cloud icon. Once you're done, log out of your iTunes account from your mom's iPod and that's it. If you really want to, I'd suggest sharing 1 iTunes account for purchases throughout your entire family. My sister and I did that once we saw we were purchasing the same things, now I have 2 iTunes accounts, one for iCloud (calendars, photos, email) and 1 exclusively for purchasing off of iTunes.
