How can I stop a person seeing status updates on Facebook?

How can i stop ONE person from seeing status updates on facebook?

  • see this is my problem my MUM recently got Facebook and every time I make status update she always comment’s on it and she it and when she calls me she starts yelling at me about what I’ve been doing or who I’ve been with I don’t want to delete her I just want to know how to stop her from reading specific status that make please help me thank you PS I have Facebook time-line don’t know if that makes a difference

    When you make a status, there should be a little privacy button, press it and then you can ban certain people from seeing a status

Once you type the status before you press enter, on the status bar it will either have a little cartoon of a person or ppl or it will say either friends of friends or friends so click on that and change it to custom and put the persons name you dont want seeing the status then press enter. But once you put that there that person wont b able to see other statuses you post after. So Then u will have to change it back to just Friends or Friends of Friends. How ever you want it

When you go to make a status on the bottom it will say your setting like everyone or friends only or something like that click on the box and than click on customize than you will see a restricted list add your mom to the restricted list and she wont be able to see it

Before you post a status there is a button next to the post button. Select Friends and below it should say Hide This From and so you just select your mum's facebook by typing her Facebook name and it should be good. hope this helps.

on your news feed page update your status on the right bottom click friends and custom and write the persons name in Hide this.
