What kind of CHI flat iron should I get?
-
What's the difference between a CHI ceramic style...and a CHI Deep Brilliance Digital Titanium Hair styling flat iron? I just need a CHI flat iron that straightens hair really good and makes it silky and smooth. I'm interested in one that Sammi "sweetheart" on jersey shore uses...thanks!! I'm buying on amazon so any links will help!

Answer:
I second that the Karmin is better. Its all about the technology and what the plates are made of. Truthfully, once you get up into that high price range, all of the flat irons are pretty good. But the Karmin has better plates that are better for your hair. Also take a careful look at where the dials and switches are located. There is nothing more annoying than a flat iron that has the on/off switch positioned right where you need to have your hand so you keep turning it off or lowering the temperature while you are styling your hair.

I've used CHI irons and they haven't worked well for me, I suggest you use the Karmin G3 Salon Pro or the Karmin Titanium. CHI flat irons use coated plates and these are known to damage hair if you're not careful. The Karmin G3 has pure tourmaline ceramic plates and they make some pretty nice results. It costs about $140 but it has all the features of a professional model, so it's worth it. The Karmin Titanium heats up really fast and is super smooth on hair, plus it's cheaper than the Karmin G3. They both have adjustable heat settings and get your hair looking silky smooth pretty fast while keeping it healthy. You can find both models at http://hairproductspro.com or http://rylees.ca Hope this helps! Good luck :)

I'm really not a fan of CHI irons. I have super thick hair and they have never done the trick for me. I would suggest looking into other flat irons. Also for the smoothest hair try and find an iron of titanium plates, they will do the best job with that.

Your best bet is to get a digital one. You want one that you can adjust the temperature on because different hair textures need different temperatures, The ones that dont adjust only have one setting: 395 degrees and for most hait types you dont need that much heat

CHI are okay! The digital ones are better. But Remington brand flat iron are good if you are looking for something cheaper. Also the wet'n strieght kind are good too. I have thick/ curly hair so I use the flat irons like crazy! Lol
