    When I was in 5th grade i did a project called "Which is more absorbent" I put 1 cup of pasta into 2 cups or water , 1 cup of beans into 2 cups of water , and 1 cup of rice into two cups of water . I made a hypothesis and all that good stuff. I let each cook for 10minutes then drained out the water to see how much water was left of each. I made a chart and everything! It was fun and simple(:
