Why am I unable to use my Visa gift card for online purchases?

If i get a visa gift card can i use it for online purchases?

Answer:

no way in hell 1) ebay and paypal do not accept prepaid or gift cards 2) unless you are 18 or older you may not legally purchase on ebay as it is not a store it is an auction site 3) paypal will not allow anyone under 18 an account either
