Does anyone work in the accounting field for the government?

Switching majors?! Accounting to Nursing?

  • I'm a junior at a university majoring in Accounting. After high school, I wanted to become a pharmacist but because of the length of schooling (I was living on my own and had to work), I wasn't able to pursue it. Right after, without thinking, I just chose to major in Accounting since I like math. Well, I realized that I don't want to sit in an office for the rest if my life and that I want to be around people and help them. I've always wanted to work in the medical field. So now, I'm thinking about switching my major to nursing. I know that I will probably have to start over but I feel I would be happier. Has anyone gone through this? I would specifically like to be a neonatal nurse but I know that I would need to become an RN first. Am I able to switch from business to nursing?? Thanks in advance!
