Why does the mail alert in Yahoo not working?

Why is my yahoo mail not working?

I sign into my yahoo and when I click "my mail" tab it keeps saying "please verify your password" and it doesn't open. It works for my yahoo, but not for my yahoo mail! When I type a wrong password, it says its wrong, but when i type the right one, it keeps saying verify. I tried that A THOUSAND TIMES! (well 357 times -.- Kept counting) PLEASE HELP THIS IS THE BEST I CAN DO I CAN"T ACCESS MY EMAIL!!!

you should contact yahoo, use yahoo help and tell em, i mean i had a prob with mail contacts a few days back and i simply contacted yahoo
