How old is the declaration of independence?

After reading the Declaration of Independence, how do you feel?

• Go to www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/decla... click on "read transcript" and read the transcript of the Declaration of Independence. I did the other day and it was sort of awkward. The more I read and agreed with it, the more I felt someone was looking over my shoulder. Comparable to an old episode of "Sliders" I really feel that currently our Federal Government would prefer its citizens not know the document ever existed, much less have any other knowledge of how our Government is "supposed" to operate. Read the entire document and let me know how it makes you feel. Thanks

  lol...don't i wish that everyone actually did read it...and spent a little time getting it straight in their minds compared to what we...our nation...has become... ahhhh me...looking over our shoulders, indeed...and rifling through our wallets and bank accounts...and....oh, well, i guess i'll just try not to think about some things...i mean, aneurisms and strokes aren't the only thing that can go wrong with my mind, you know?
