Can anyone recommend trees/shrubs that do well in wet ground/standing water?
-
Often times there is standing water in an area in my back yard from runoff, and creates swampy conditions. Short of excavating the area and spending lots of $$ doing that, I want to plant appropriate trees and bushes around it to try to either "soak up" some of the water and/or clean it up a bit to make it more appealing. The Weeping Willow tree is one tree that can/will drink lots of water and will do well on "swampy" ground. Can anyone recommend any others that may do well in this area?
