I got a prank call from people who said they were police. i searched the phone number its the Non emergency number for a police station and the person said " my name is officer whitely an please call back (in a female voice) " called back an the dispatcher said we do have a officer whitely but its a guy an he has no clue who you are and how you got his name. im guessing it was my Ex gf whos dad is a cop. the reason i hate her is that we dated for 6 months, she cheated on me, lied to me, never liked me an played a game for 6 months an didn't bother telling me. till after i final repaired some of her electronics. she was 16 im 17. also she told all my friends an her dad that im a meth head an other things so none of my friends will talk to me. so is it legal for one of the people in the household to do a prank on me saying there the police and that they did it from a police station. I did send one text to her because she kept spamming my email, facebook, skype, with several accounts she keeps making. and thats it. is there anything i can do? to stop this from happening every day of the week.

  its very illegal. that is using somebody elses name which is identity theft.
