Allergic to guinea pigs or not?

Am I allergic to my guinea pigs?

    I have the same problem with my piggies. I do think it is an allergic reaction to them or maybe to their hay. A lot of times people think they are allergic to the piggie, but it's actually their hay. I've just learned to live with it. You could probably buy some Benedryl (sp) cream to put on it, that may help the itching. I agree that I could never get rid of my piggie just because of a little itching. lol

Sounds like allergy to me. I suggest going to the doctor and have your allergies checked. Doctors can give you proper meds so your allergy don't get worse, and maybe you can coexist with your piggies. You may have to get rid of your guinea pigs is your allergy is sever though. And it's always a good idea to know if you are allergic to anything else besides guniea pigs.
