Is Free my apps legit?

  • So I was playing with words with friends and saw this "free my apps" advertisement and I clicked on it. It showed that it would make angry birds space free, but it asked for ID to my iPod, which is what I was doing it on. I want to know oif it is legit, won't be messing up settings, and will it eventually give me the free apps. Please answer only if you had experience doing this thank you.

App store has fee games and their is jailbreaking but I don't normally recommend that because it break the warranty
