First name change on school documents?
-
Im going to college in the fall, and i don't go by my given first name that's on my birth certificate. I go by my middle name. I was wondering if there was a way i could change my school records to just my middle name and drop my first without going through a legal name change? i don't want my college diploma and all that to have a name on it that essentially isn't mine. so is it possible for me to arrange with the school to drop my first name off my documents in my files? or do i have to go about it legally?
