You do realize that that is WAY too much to expect one person to type up, right? I suggest you make a visit to your local library, and pick up some books on the subject. More than likely they'll be a bit dated (written sometime in the 80's or 90's), but they'll give you the basic information you're looking for - not that much has changed, especially in terms of culture and infrastructure (how things are done). Japan is still the world leader in technology & robotics, and they're currently one of the leaders in video game production (alongside the U.S. & Canada). What's mostly changed is that they're starting to get out of that stagnant economy thing, but their biggest issue right now is arguably the aging population & declining birthrate.
