Every time you touch something, decide if it is a must. If so, write it down. You will also need AT LEAST three months worth of expenses in a savings account for emergencies. This is EACH of you, not combined. When your significant other moves out in the middle of your lease, keep in mind that the landlord will still expect you to pay the entir rent. EACH person in the lease is 100% responsible for the entire monthly rent and utilities.
