How do I set up dual monitors on an HDTV?
-
Hi, I am quite technically savvy, however I am having a minor issue with figuring out how to set up dual monitors with my HDTV. MY SETUP: -HP Pavilion dm1 notebook -Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit, Service Pack 1 -AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.30 GHz -4 GB Memory -HDMI port MY GOAL: To be able to use my SAMSUNG HDTV as a second monitor, via HDMI, that I can drag a window off the edge of my notebook display and onto the HDTV display. In essence I want to have more desktop space in which to organize and view, open windows and applications. Simply put, I want to use an HDTV, conected to my notebook via HDMI, as a dual monitor (NOT just mirrored), without any other equipment, adapters, or software. Much thanks in advance!!!!!! -Sam
