I Recomend cliche for beginners really good pop and last long ive skated over 27 decks and loved the cliche deck the most if you cant find that one id get a deathwish there a really good deck if you can find the p 2 in any company there great spring pop and bullet proof added pading to the deck hope you enjoy btw get thunders trucks rush berrings and spitty wheels have fun skating;]

I do not know if you are looking for a shortboard or a longboard. So if you happen to be looking for a longboard I would recommend Sector 9 boards. They are great for beginners and are reasonably priced. I have a Sector 9 and love it. Hope this helps.
