How much do Rn make in Wisconsin?

Anyone know any RN program/course located in NY THAT will allow or make you elgible to sit for NCLEX exam (LPN?

  • I WANT to take a RN program that enables you to sit for an exam to become a LPN. because I.want to obtain a RN license but I don't know if i can manage.school and work on a CNA salary and not flunk out of school . I would like to make.a.decent amount of money and still.have energy.for.school and survive I'm the jungle you.call earth as we know it. :) but if anyone has an ideas or.suggestions please let me know .

    The only way I've heard of it being done is an LPN to RN program where they prepare you as an LPN. Then after you become certified and complete your RN pre-reqs like anatomy, math, and whatever else you didn't need for the LPN portion, you start a year worth of RN clinicals. Sometimes more depending on whether you end up in an LPN to BSN program or the traditional LPN to RN associate degree program. It'll take longer this way than a traditional RN program, but if you think you may need to take a little break, it may be better for you. Keep in mind that those programs are technically two different programs. Our LPN tract at my school is a year long and after they get it, they go on a waiting list, which is short for now, to become an RN through the LPN to RN program. Excelsior is an online school that does LPN to RN, but you will need to get your LPN elsewhere. There may be schools out there that will prepare you as an LPN within a year, but I haven't heard of them.
