Can i become a RN with out my LPN?

    Most do not require you to have your LPN before you start an RN program. However, the only exception I know of is if you are going online, in which case many require you to have your LPN or paramedic license because that way you have the foundation of patient care and can probably do some of the basic skills. Excelsior School requires LPN to RN or Paramedic to RN to complete their online RN program. Otherwise, there are thousands of schools that let you get your RN without having your LPN. Too many to list.

No, you don't have to be an LPN first. You can go straight into any RN program, whether it's an Associate Degree program or a Bachelors program. But there are LPN to RN bridge programs for people who do choose to get the LPN first.
