Is dog sledding hard?

Info & basics of dog sledding?

• I'm 13 (girl) and I (my family) am planning on buying a dog in a few months. Most likely a husky mix. I know a TON about almost every king of animal and every kind of dog breed, so no need for lectures:) Anyway, despite how much I know about dogs, I can't find ANYTHING on dog sledding or racing. And this isn't just a kid thing btw, I've always been very serious about dog sledding and have always been interested in it. So if you know any books, websites, or knowledge on it, then please post and I'll vote the best one best answer. Thanks:)

  "DewClaw" is absolutely right! Those are the best things to do-- plus there are tons of websites about dogsledding and races-- try again. It is surely not necc. to race however-- start as dewclaw said. Linda from www.HuskyPowerDogsledding.com
