Its a very tough balance and difficult making sure you aren't being sucked in. Make sure any survey website you sign up with has a proven track record first! Do not put your credit card information in to any survey website. Instead use a safe medium such as PayPal. I've heard of some real ones that pay as much as 4 cents an hour. But, keep in mind that you may have to accumulate $100 before you can receive a check. Then they will charge you for mailing and processing your payment. Any more than 2 to 4 cents an hour, and you start into the scam ones.
