How do I open a program in its original location?

How to go about changing location of Work Release Program?

  • Hello, I was assigned for a Work Release Program that is located in San Bernardino, but I live in San Diego. Being a full-time Student and Worker, it would be impossible to drive up there with my busy schedule. I'm going to school for Nursing and I'm working to pay off my fines with my crime. I have a court date tomorrow so I could beg the Judge if I can have my Work Release Program moved to San Diego, but I don't even know if I can even ask that. I really don't know what I'm doing. Can anyone please help me ASAP?

  • Answer:

If you do not have an attorney, before going to court check with the clerk of courts office about getting your work release moved. Some clerks can arrange it with the judge's approval. Keep in mind that the San Diego program may reject you if they have too many people or not enough work.
