I think I may have a spider bite. What should I do?

These are called boils.(skin abscesses) and not the result of a spider. A hot towel treatment will help these. The pustule in the center may rupture and ooz puss. (good sign) But you should use a topical antibiotic to help prevent secondary infection. Cut a chili pepper in half and cook only were you cut it. Don't over cook it but when you feel it is comfortable enough put the cooked part were the spider bite is. This will get rid of the spider bite (if it is a spider bite). It's worth doing if you can't stand the pain of spider bites.

you can use Adolf's meat tenderizer on the wound. Somehow it takes care of the bite if it is a big wound. I got bit one time moving a bag of old mulch for my lawn. I dressed the wound with Adolfs and it starting to heal after a few days. If you don't treat it, the wound could start to increase in size as the wound dissolves which requires some medical attention. If its just small bites, you could have small spiders along the edge of your bed. You can wash the sheets and spray around the edge while their in the wash.

MGC, Most Spider bites here in the USA are not harmful except the Brown Recluse spider and it in places like under houses and trailers that's why they call a recluse, it's hides under things but if you are allergic to spider bites it would be worse and if you get the flesh eating you really have a problem, so I would go to the E.R. if there is any swelling feeling hot to the touch or any drainage from the bite.
