How do I get my refund from Paypal?

How can I get paypal refund?

  • Recently I bought a twitter account for $300 through paypal. I bought it from a person through email. But the account password he send was a fake. So i contacted him, but no reply. When I checked his paypal email id, i found that the paypal email id was removed. What should I do now to get my money back and take legal action against the fraud? But as the buying and saling of twitter is illegal, i am confuse alot to take legal help.

    Unfortunately you can't do anything. It's against Twitter's terms to buy and sell accounts as these are the sole property of Twitter. Paypal will not protect you on virtual items like this, and will also not protect you if you engaged in an illegal transaction which this is. The police aren't going to help because by going to the police you would have to admit you bought something you did not have the legal rights to buy

Suck it up, you'll never see that $300 again. I don't think it's illegal to buy/sell Twitter accounts though. It might be against their Terms of Service and will cause them to shut the account down, but I doubt it is illegal.
