How can I go from one version of Yahoo to another version?
-
I I kept seeing an offer to switch to Yahoo Classic. I clicked on some button, and everything has change. I am very unhappy with this. Currenty, I go into one screen (very new and strange) and at the top, I see an icon showing a little house and the word, "Yahoo." I cllick on that icon and it takes me back to my old Yahoo version; however, NO options to do anything are now offered with my old version. I just want to go back to where I was. Can I?

Answer:
You CAN switch back to Classic (if that's what you want) Click this link to remain with Classic Mail----(or get back to it after upgrading). It's a permanent fix and will stop the prompts which continuously urge you to upgrade. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html After the page opens, scroll down a bit till you see---"What if I don't want to upgrade"?---then click the blue link "click here", and return to Classic is immediate.

Since I am entirely annoyed by the new Yahoo mail, I am still on Classic. Every once in a while I check to see if the new version has improved, but I have always gone back to Classic. There used to be a button, though it wasn't all that easy to find. If that is gone, I'm not sure what you should do. All I can tell you is that the address I have bookmarked takes me to my classic version. If for some reason I find myself in the new mail I just close the window and click on my bookmark to get to classic. If you can get back there once, then make sure you bookmark it and get there that way.

You'd have to build a time machine. Yahoo classic is gone for good, sorry!
