Is Fulham (London) a safe area to live?

  • I'm about to buy a home in fulham, just off the Munster road. The place and the surrounding streets look nice, however i've found news on the internet regarding several stabbings in the area, so i want to know, from people who live in or regularly visit the area: In general, is Fulham a safe area to walk around, go out at night, etc... ? If you don't live in Fulham, would you buy a home there? Thanks in advance!

    It's much the same as anywhere else although so far it's been relatively devoid of the stabbings and shootings.

Fulham is as safe as most of London. Crime can occur anywhere. Take the usual precautions. Avoid quiet badly lit streets at night. Hide your telephone from view etc

My nan lives in fultham. So I go there often, it's not very safe. I suggest you don't buy a house there.

Fulham covers a wide range. Munster Road looks pretty nice - but its a fairly long road, so there may be quite a variation. (North End Road is very different close to Fulham Broadway compared to around Lillie Road and then on up.) It's probably a better than average area.

Fulham is a very rich area and is generally safe. But it's the sort of area you should have your wits about you and be street smart. Why Fulham? It's full of yuppie tossers. There's much better areas to live in in London.
