How come English people know so much about the USA but Can't even find France on a map?

Infact you can see France from certain parts of southern England. Would much rather holiday in France than the USA. At least France has superior food, countryside, shopping, architecture, fashion, beaches, people and much more. Much better country to live in than the USA as well. I'd love to visit France. The USA is the last place i want to visit on my "to visit" list.

You are so right! Every man, woman and chlld in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland has absolutely no idea where France is to be found. Probably a good percentage of them don't even know where England is, much less the other parts of the UK. There now - do you feel better. You are kidding right? I'm Portuguese and I gotta tell you, AMERICANS DON'T KNOW WHERE IRAQ IS IN A MAP!
