How to take a picture of the Screen of a MAC if it is a video?

  • I am trying to take pictures of a video on my mac. I am studying for a test and parts of the video that I am studying has info that if i can just print it out is would be verrrrrry helpful. I can print out the whole screen but the video comes in white and grey checkered. How do I take a screen shot of just the video and have it actually come in correctly?
