Where can I buy a Japanese cell phone?

Where can I buy just a cell phone and no plan/contract?

  • I have an AT&T phone that I absolutely hate. I tried taking it back since there is a 1 year warranty but they said it only goes through the manufacturer and there is nothing they can do. I can't upgrade til next January so I put my sim card in my old phone that ive almost had for 3 years. I don't want to buy a phone w/ no contract from AT&T because those phones are ridiculously priced. So where can I buy just a new cell phone to stick my sim card in? Does best buy or walmart do that??

    Any small phony company such as Koodo does this.. You can buy your own phone that's used or from ebay whatever and then take it in to have a chip inserted. Works like a charm! Hope this helps =)

You're probably better off finding a new phone without a contract on ebay. Ebay has thousands of cellphones to choose from. Just make sure you do your research and read the listings carefully.

Just be sure to buy an Unlocked Phone GSM 4 BAND. They have them at Best Buy, and Future Shop too.

Wal-mart is your best bet, but I hate wal-mart so go to target they got then also
