What is there to do in Minnesota that is not super expensive?

Should i move to Minnesota?

  • I live in Los Angeles, CA and i'm thinking about moving to Minneapolis/St. Paul MN to avoid all the huge budget/economy crisis going on down here in Cali. It's SUPER hard to live here and the apartments are expensive as HECK! I'm using my last Financial Aid disbursement money to get down there to find a job and live independently. How is the EASIEST way for me to get a job there? I think i'll be broke when i arrive there or sometime after that, so i need to find an immediate job and something to keep a roof over my head. I have heard that people in Minnesota are a HECK of a lot friendlier and easier to get along with better than Californians. Is this true? I want to make some friends easily there, can i do that?
